Well, your description of the cable you're looking for doesn't
help much. Not that the industry ever went out of it's way to make it
easy for you. There are a *lot* of connectors that have been used to
carry scsi. "SCSI2 connectors that were not clips" could include a
lot of things.
"SCSI2 with clips" sounds like a centronics 50 connector; large
with a resemblance to the printer side of a parallel cable. "SCSI3
with screws" sounds like modern high-density (or micro or mini
depending on who you ask) DB50/DB68 used in current SCSI II/III
systems, but you may actually be talking about something else.
Spend some time googling around and you can probably find photos
of the connector to help you find what you really need.
