for that size of network, i still think amanda takes some beating.  for 
backups, it's pretty much completely automated: as long as your 
CLI-challenged peops can read email and change tapes, they can feed and 
care for amanda.  for restores, it's a bit trickier, it must be confessed.  

do you have a clear idea whether you're doing moron backups or disaster 
backups (ie, will you be spooling three tapes a day to recover the 
oh-so-vital .sxw file that HR just accidentally deleted, or will you be 
spooling three tapes a year when some stupid database goes spare and eats 
itself, or the RAID-5 helpfully fails two discs in ten minutes)?
