Ximian is one of the companies most focused on Linux in the corporate world, so they have front line perspective on the challenges and benefits of implementing open source. With large organizations beginning to implement Linux both in and beyond traditional server environments, and even on the desktop, it's important for us as systems administrators to understand why and how they are doing so.
