Hi all, I need to start backing up MS Exchange, running on Win2000. I also have a Dell tape drive, PowerValut 110 T.
I talked to Veritas about Backup Exec 9, with the Exchange Server Agent. My costs for that hover around $2000. Is it true that you need to do something special to back up exchange? Are there cheaper ways of doing this? I've got Red Hat 8.0 and 64-bit Solaris 8 running, too, if there's a GNU Linux/Unix product that I can use. ps - hi betsy!
