It seems my initial email contained confused wording. Many people interpreted it to think I was looking for a clearance _without_ first having a job requiring it, and to spend out-of-pocket money for the clearance process.
The correction is I am looking for a _job_ somewhere between Boston and the 495 area (including North a bit into New Hampshire and South down to around Foxboro area) that requires the winning candidate be able to obtain a clearance (meaning the organization sponsors clearances). For-profit, non-profit, direct hire, contract, I don't care. My trade is computer support (Macs/PCs/networking), some UNIX, somewhat Scott-of-all-trades - some AV setups. Disk imaging, taking computers and stuff out of their shipping boxes and preparing them for delivery to employees, help desk - phone/email/in-person support. No programming. Pretty much the average computer support stuff. I have a reliable car. My resume is always available at http://www.ehrlichtronics.com/resume Sorry for any confusion from the original email, but I did learn a bit from the responses. I look forward to any help/assistance anyone can provide with my request. Thank you all again.
