I've been quite happy with the Shuttle XPC boxes (http://us.shuttle.com/).
The last 5 or 6 computers I've built for myself and others have all been
in XPC cases, and with the exception of the first model--which didn't have
sufficient cooling--they've worked quite well. They're small and have
excellent CPU cooling and variable speed fans, so they're not always loud.
I usually buy them barebones with CPU and RAM loaded and tested from
multiwave (http://www.mwave.com/). They only charge a few bucks for
loading the parts you buy into the box, and it saves trying to fit my
hands inside the little case.
