KDE has a nice tool called kdirstat - I don't actually know what
treesize does, but I've found kdirstat to be very useful for
answering that question.
It's also capable of sizing a remote system using sftp.

We love "treesize" for CIFS file shares. Does anyone know of a
similar tool for graphically displaying who's using what, for a
Linux file system? We're willing to buy, but based on the price of
treesize, ($50 a license) we don't think we should have to pay too
much.
