Folks:
I'm in the midst of researching the possibilities open to us on
upgrading our T1 service to (probably) a fractional T3. One of the
possibilities I'm looking into is WiMAX technology as implemented by
Towerstream ( http://www.towerstream.com/ ).
My director is very skeptical. I am less skeptical, but would like
something to back it up. WiMAX technology is not new and its been
successfully deployed in a number of areas I know.
Is anyone here in the area using WiMAX and specifically Towerstream
(or have used it)? If so I would be very grateful if you could relate
your experiences, both good and bad. If you wish, please email me
privately at the address below. I have no wish to have anyone
badmouthed on the list!
