Is not the drobo limited to 4 disks?

If you've got a system with 10 disks in it, why not add a hardware raid
card, and Windows, and let windows be the file server?  You would be certain
to have a pretty reliable setup this way, including AD integration and disk
redundancy, and ACL's.

If all you care about is the windows share, this would be certainly easier
to set up and more intuitive than figuring out some linux / solaris /
whatever OS sort of way to do it.
