For all the windows domain servers and clients, it is the default configuration. Because time sync is a prerequisite for kerberos (AD) to work, all the machines must be in sync... So as long as you created an AD domain, you're already doing this. Since we're going to do it from all our AD servers anyway, I see no point in running more time servers. I always configure all machines, windows, mac, linux, and solaris alike to sync up to our AD servers, which in turn sync to the 'Net. Well ... I don't configure the windows clients per se... because they're automatic... My preference is for AD servers to sync to us.pool.ntp.org, and everything else sync to the AD servers. _______________________________________________ bblisa mailing list [email protected] http://www.bblisa.org/mailman/listinfo/bblisa
