I have been using hostgator.com for small company hosting. I don't have
any personal experience that they scale to the level you'll need but
their support has been excellent. I use them for shared account (for
web hosting) and VPS (for hosting a custom web app) -- haven't yet gone
dedicated but might in the next year.
I selected them after negative support experience with another provider
and gave them the "ask a detailed technical question at 1am Sunday
morning" test -- which they passed with flying colors. Since then
they've grown substantially but my most recent support requests (some
details changing a VPS to a dedicated IP earlier this year) was handled
quickly and well.
