Hi Nick, I don't care so much for my own sake, but the guys on the team probably will not want to set up a VM for the sole purpose of validating/linting manifests--they like SourceTree as a git tool, which is Win/Mac-only. Trying to make the process as easy as possible for everyone on my team.
