Using the FC-4 netdev kernel from
http://people.redhat.com/linville/kernels/fedora-netdev/

I find that every time NetworkManager scans for available networks or I
run 'iwlist scan' manually, I get disconnected from the network I was
on.

This seems to be because we don't actually switch back to the channel we
_should_ be on, after we finish the scan... it stops working when I
scan, and _usually_ starts again when I set the channel back, although
sometimes I also have to set the essid again.
