The file names was wrong. I had bcm430x_initval01.fw files, and the
right is with two "x", so: bcm43xx_initval01.fw.
I havemade several symlinks.
After reboot, the iwlist seems to work:
iwlist wlan0 scan
Give several results (my aps listed too).
I have in dmesg:
wlan0: starting scan
wlan0: scan completed
So it is working!
But, if I want to associate to my AP (no wep, or other restrictions),
nothing happens!
iwconfig wlan0 essid mol
The iwconfig output is always off/any. there is nothing in dmesg output.
If I want to change the bitrate, I have this error message:
buza:/usr/src/linux-2.6.16-rc4/scripts# iwconfig wlan0 rate 11M
Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Operation not supported.
The iwlist output:

Any ideas?
