I'm nobody special, but I have to wonder if people are really having
issues with rate. I thought I was having this problem, because people
indicated that might be the problem. All the circumstantial evidence
agreed. But when I got down and dirty and scientifically tested it, it
was just a matter of timing and basically boiled down to bringing up the
link then using iwconfig, and not doing that too fast.

It's great if people are really having rate problems, but I think those
reports, from what I've seen, need to be taken with a grain of salt.
