Hello,
I still encounter the kernel panic. I first deleted the ipv6.ko, ran depmod
and rebooted. Nothing changed. Than I recompiled the kernel without any ipv6
support, and still I get the kernel panic. Dont know what to do at all. I
cant give you any logs, because the panics dont get logged. Im getting sad
:(

If you provide the full text of the kernel panic, then there is some chance of people being able to help you - otherwise, I'm afraid it's impossible.

How do I configure syslog, that it logs the kernel panics as well, because only
successfull start-ups get logged somehow.
Is it in syslog.conf:
kern.warn /var/logs/warn.log
If not, can someone point me to a solution. I searched every log in var/log/,
with no luck.

Thanks Thomas
