The WPC54G has used several chips. Mine, which is one of the earliest, uses a 
BCM4306 rev. 2.

The 4318 may or may not work with the bcm43xx driver. There are known problems 
with transmit power on that chip, which are being addressed; however, there are 
no promises as to when the driver will be ready. The card should work with 
ndiswrapper.
