Initially, when I boot up to Gentoo the LED is on. 2. When I do "modprobe bcm43xx", the LED is still on. 3. When I do "iwconfig", to check on wireless interface, the LED is still on. 4. When I do "ifconfig eth1 up", the LED goes off.
