There are two new patch files on my FTP server (ftp://lwfinger.dynalias.org/patches). The first of these will make the signal, noise and quality outputs of 2.6.18.1 match those of wireless-2.6.
The second patch file implements the new PHY initialization and RSSI processing algorithms recently posted by Joe Jezak of the clean-room team. I am particularly interested in learning whether these changes help the signal strength for 4318 chips.
