Hi folks, I'm using a Powerbook 12" with a Motorola SBG900E access point/cable modem. The Motorola can operate in two modes: basic 802.11b/g mode and 802.11g 'extended' mode which is apparently faster but less compatible. Under OS X both modes works fine, however, under Linux (I'm using Fedora Core 6) only the first one works. Here's the portion of /var/log/messages where the failure happens:
