Please let me know. 1) I do not know if "g" mode works OK because I do not have appropriate device to test it - I use "b" only. I hope, though, that the master mode should work in "g" mode correctly (provided that both the rest of the driver and hostapd support "g" mode), as to the best of my knowledge, AP in "g" mode should transfer beacons in the same way as in "b" mode. 2) I know nothing about WDS, sorry :-( I think it is not supported by current bcm43xx driver, but I have no idea on the complexity of making it work ... dscape stack seems to support it, though, so, most likely, it's not as hard as writing it from the scratch completely, it's only making the driver to handle it. As for the setup - please, have a look at the following topic on openwrt forum for brief description: http://forum.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=5585 As currently master mode patches are integrated in bcm43xx-dscape sources, it shouldn't be needed anymore to apply the patches I've described on openwrt forum. If everything is OK with current versions of bcm43xx, dscape and hostapd sources - making it work in master mode should be as easy as just compiling everything, loading dscape & bcm43xx modules and running hostapd with appropriate conifg. There's still a chance, however, that some of the sources are not currently synchronised - these are "experimental" branches, anyway ;-) Good luck!
