im not too sure if anything has been done about this, but i have a broadcom
4311 (notice the subject :) ) but its actually a dell mini-pci 1390. im
using kernel 2.6.20-rc3...i have the bcm43xx built into my kernel, along
with softmac, and the whole shabang...when it gets loaded at boot, it says
this according to dmesg:

bcm43xx driver
ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LK2E] enabled at IRQ 19

later in dmesg it shows this:
bcm43xx: IRQ_READY timeout
bcm43xx: core_up for active 802.11 core failed (-19)
bcm43xx: IRQ_READY timeout
bcm43xx: core_up for active 802.11 core failed (-19)
bcm43xx: IRQ_READY timeout
bcm43xx: core_up for active 802.11 core failed (-19)

everytime i switch my card on or off it shows:
ACPI: EC: evaluationg _Q10
but the led for the wifi card doesnt change, its still orange (off)

ifconfig eth1 up gives me this:
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such device

iwlist eth1 scan
eth1 No scan results

iwconfig

eth1 IEEE 802.11b/g ESSID:"essid" Nickname:"bcm4311"

i got my firmware from http://bu3sch.de/bcm43xx_fw.php and extracted with
bcm43xx-fwcutter and put them in /lib/firmware (used v3.x)

any help would be greatly apprecitated!
thanks!
