Patches to fix the problems associated with having > 1 GB RAM have been posted at ftp://lwfinger.dynalias.org/patches. There are versions for 2.6.18, 2.6.19, and 2.6.20. I hope that the fix actually makes it into 2.6.20-rc6, which would make this patch unnecessary, but we'll see what happens.
