New to this list, with one big question: Is there not some collection of patches that can be simply unpacked and applied according to distro or platform? I've spent nearly three full days, probably to accomplish about two days' worth of damage trying to get this Broadcom chip to sing on my new Acer TM2480. As far as I've found, this one or that might have made some progress on their machine at some point in the past and left their sure-fire command lines on a blog, and those lines might work part of the way down, and then fail. Well, you all know that drill! I'm enclosing the screen from my last attempt to get my wifi go high, and if anybody has any workable insights, (or magic patches), please share the wealth!
