Hi bcm43xx-developers,

I'm not sure whether this information is of interest for you, but here

INSTALLATION
On a HP Pavilion dv9074ae laptop, wireless networking almost worked
out-of-the-box when installing Ubuntu Feisty beta using the Live-CD. I
only had extract the firmware with
sudo apt-get install bcm43xx-fwcutter
(that is, it used http://boredklink.googlepages.com/wl_apsta.o)
Me like!

"TEST RESULT"
Router: D-LINK DI-524 AirPlus G 802.11g/2.4GHz
WEP: Working, but it's slow
WPA: Not working (at least not out-of-the-box with NetworkManager in
Ubuntu Feisy beta)

Cheers,
John
