I have a DV9208NR and I have had no acpi problems. However, I have to
boot with the pci=nommconf in order for the ndiswrapper to drive the
broadcom 4311. I periodically black list the ndiswrapper and enable
the bcm43xx-80211 driver and this past week was the first time I could
get the native driver to associate with my router using wep
encryption.

I could not get more than 11m out of it though. If I tried to force
it to any rate greater than 11 then it would associate, but it would
not allow any through put.
