Yes; the phy number is the internal number that cfg80211 assigns. You can, using nl80211, rename the PHY to something like "bcmphy0" if you wish, but bcm43xx-mac80211 isn't yet using cfg80211's debugfs provisioning (/sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phyX) so you wouldn't have it stable even then. johannes
