Yes, which is why it isn't working too well. My recollection is that the old PHY (V3 firmware) code works better than the V4 code does. Your card will be one of those that will use bcm43legacy, and will not be covered by bcm43. Watch this list for an announcement. The new drivers will be in the wireless-dev tree.
