Of course you'll get the required help from all of us. Basically, becoming a b43legacy maintainer is easy. Just start hacking on it. Start understanding the code. Maybe make suggestions/patches on what to do better. Simply start working on it. If that works well, we'll put your name into the MAINTAINERS file and you are the official maintainer.
