i hope this could be useful,i installed opensuse10.3,by bcm43-fwcutter i extracted firmware v3,by the way i have the same problem that was on fedora 8,i get connected,everything ok authentication...(but always disabling networkmanager) but the speed is always slow,not more than 30kb/s..more i noticed that if i get more distant from the router i can't connect...but i can see the access point,with a good power signal...next days i'll try on debian too the access point is linksys wap11 greetings ruggiero
