To implement this driver, you will need to acquire the kernel source for 2.6.24-rc2 from kernel.org, make sure you have the compiler and other tools needed to build a new kernel. In addition, you will need the set of patches that modify the SPROM handling, and the patch I published today. I will be combining them and putting the whole set on my FTP site. Watch this mailing list for an announcement. The other thing that will be needed is b43-fwcutter and the Broadcom driver from which to extract V4 firmware. The process for this extraction is described at http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43. Building a new kernel seems difficult the first time you do it. I certainly hope you get some local help. Larry _______________________________________________ Bcm43xx-dev mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/bcm43xx-dev
