I'd originally downloaded ssb_sprom from the git link on the b43
page.
Initially the syntax / usage of ssb_sprom totally eluded me, so I went back and
searched the mailling list for clues.
It was there that I found a posting by Larry, being a patch for the README
file of the ssb_sprom package, which went on to answer all the questions I
had about syntax and usage --- thanks for that Larry, 'twas a god-send!!
My query here is did Larry's patch for the README file get overlooked
somehow? It isn't in the (git) archive mentioned above, nor could I find
it included in any other ssb_sprom archive....or am I looking in the wrong
places?
