Have you considered searching the archives? This subject has been discussed
at least twice before in this list!!

Although the lspci output mentions USB, the device has a PCIe interface. At
the moment, it has an SPROM revision (#8) whose layout has not been decoded.
In addition, it has a new LP-PHY and a new radio model. The specifications
have not yet been written for these components, thus there is no code in b43
to operate it.

The reverse engineers are working on the specs for this device. How long it
will take is unknown. One option is to use ndiswrapper with the Windows
driver; however, that solution didn't work for me on my 64-bit system. Others
have reported it working, but I don't know if 32- or 64-bit systems. Your
second option is to replace the card - my dv2815nr now has a BCM4311. This
option requires the Product ID to be rewritten, which may be too much trouble
for you.
