I tend to disagree.

First thing: bcm43xx is outdated. The in-kernel b43 driver is
state-if-the-art.

Second thing: when a driver is in-kernel, I'd suggest that the
driver-webpage contents get's transferred to the central place
for all in-kernel-drivers, and that would be
http://wireless.kernel.org.

The main page of bcm43xx (http://bcm43xx.berlios.de/?go=home)
even states both things: "This site won't be updated anymore.
Please check the b43 driver page at linuxwireless.org for
up-to-date information.".

("linuxwireless.org" is an alias to "wireless.kernel.org", the
now canonical web address).

> This page does not list BCM4328 anywhere

That's because the web page you referred to doesn't get updated
anymore. 4328 is mentioned on
http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43, thought.

As to the "make more accessible to less technical oriented
people" I don't have a good answer. Maybe this is the job of
SuSE, RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu, ... Not sure about that.
