If you wanted to go over the specific suggested setup for wireshark, I'd be 
happy to implement it.  I don't know wireshark, so if you could eliminate 
the learning curve, I'd be happy to take the data.

Well, it would be interesting to see a wireshark log of another device in
monitor mode while this happens. Additionally a spectrum analyzer log
would be pretty cool.
