Hello,

Since I switched to the b43legacy driver, after ndiswrapper stopped
working, I've managed to make wireless work again, but it seems to be
quite slow, or connections sometimes fail, and messages are issued
about once every second (see attachment enabled-disabled.txt).

It also prevents me from using keyboard repetition, as if each event
acted as pressing a key, stopping the repetition sequence.

The output of uname, lspci and dmesg is in attachment info.txt.

I have tried to have a look at the driver code, and all I found was
where the message was. But I couldn't find where the event comes from.
Or I didn't have the courage to look for it, as I don't have any kernel
programming experience.

Anyway, my Asus L5800C has no hardware rfkill switch, at least none of
the buttons acted like one when I used ndiswrapper. I'm wondering what
the state change every second (with each polling) means.

Could you please help me ? I'd be glad to try a patch if you tell me
what to change.
