I'm not sure what the solution was, but with regards to my previous problems with disconnects: I just installed 2.6.27-7 and the latest wicd: 1.5.4 and I no longer have the disconnect problem. Unfortunately, I did them at essentially the same time, so I'm not too sure what fixed the problem. Kurt
