I thought that... however.,.. Heres the results -- b43-fwcutter prepared I have 3 sets of firmware of various versions.
I have the MIMO firmware (broadcom-wl-4.150.10.5) additionally the b43-legacy firmware and another firmware (broadcom-wl-4.80.53.0). of the above... I have not with either of b43 OR b43-legacy seen any interface show up when issuing "ifconfig -a" at a root prompt. anyone got any questions as to what may possibly be happening ? or suggestions as to things to try out ? or to find out more information ?
