I did some testing with my old notebook and the PCCARD boards. The mini-pci-e boards from Hong Kong are still missing, I begin to suspect that I should buy others from some other vendor. The two boards are the same, Belkin F5D7011: they are reported as being functional with b43. Unfortunately they have the same behavior, they crash the pc also with the proprietary firmware. Could this bug due to the Cardbus Controller? I'm using the kernel from wireless- testing, downloaded yesterday (2.6.31-rc5-wl).
