okay i understand the mistake in my commnet, i was really way too much with
ubuntu, NO ITS NOT THE WORST. its better than: rad hat, fedora, mandriva, suse.
and its inferior to : knoppix, debian, slackware.

All valid points. But they basically come down to: you need more
flexibility from your distro. Ubuntu's designers have carefully cut
out a lot of flexibility from the default install to make it simpler.
The Windows crowd loves it.
I guess Ubuntu is not your cup of tea. But is it the worst ever? Try
Linpus Linux and see :-)
