Thankyou for reporting the error. The programs are not OS dependent. However, while creating the demo certain files had to be modified and this error escaped all my efforts at testing, as all the "Bangla" commands were working fine. The output should pause after commands issued in Bangla; e.g. "সূচী" for dir or "নকল" for copy and so on. For commands issued in English, such as dir or copy please edit the file proc.bat and ensure it looks as shown below (please cut and paste):
rem -------start of proc.bat-------------- @echo off %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9 pause mode con lines=50 call fontdo rem -------end of proc.bat --------------- The error was that the proc.bat in the demo has "pause" after "call fontdo", which unortunately clears the screen. Thankyou once again. I shall immediately post a modified BangaBhashaDemo.exe on the http://www.indicybers.net/ben_index.html For those who have downloaded the existing Demo a modified proc.bat shall also be posted. Please do try out "লেখক" and "লোগো", which work properly in the demo. I would also request you to start BangaBhasha Demo using "bangla.bat", since some environment variables need to be set.
