I have taken the liberty to change the subject line -- I felt yours one means nothing -- at least nothing regarding the question you have placed.
As suggested, there is no full proof method for stopping spam -- basically it is a compromising choice between allowing "some spam" or "disqualifying some legitimate mails" -- you need to set your priority. For example, I remember one setup where the rules were so restrictive that an important mail asking for a "driver cum peon" was blocked as spam -- guess why :D This brought another idea -- have you tried the recent MailScanner package? The recent one incorporates MCP -- message content protection -- that enables you to even further fine-tune the content scanning and allows you to set rules for discarding messages based on the content. But then again -- try not to forget the compromising part :D Frankly speaking, your question is highly vague. Can you be a bit more specific -- like what platform, current setup you have, the userland softwares (both mozilla/netscape and thunderbird can do automated filtering -- which means that the users will never know they were spammed, if the filters can be set properly). I believe that will ensure more accurate solution for you than merely asking "how do I do that". happy linuxing Quoting shamim shahriar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Dear Mr Shahin012 > > As far as I know, there is no way you can completely stop spams from your > server, but you can significanly reduce the effect using spamassassin or > similar packages (considering you are using linux boxes). > > Hope this helps > > Shahriar > > shahin012 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi everyone, any one can help > me how can i stop spaming from mail server. > > Regards > shahin > > > > > > > To unsubscribe send a blank mail to: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > > SPONSORED LINKS > Bangladesh > Linux user > Bangladesh flag > Dhaka bangladesh > > --------------------------------- > YAHOO!
