Welcome to the DEJUCE dunia. Gr8 another new bee in Linux. Start installing in your leftover 5GB. Enjoy. Just ONE MORE THING... you should read the disclaimer carefully which basically says "....if it crashes, I am not to blame...."
I was only joking. Yes you can start installing. 5 gb is a good space to start trying out. Install the workstation version and look for the page where it says partitioning. If you are worried too much, use partion manually. Also check the following link to have quick read. http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Installation-HOWTO/index.html ENJOY Mandrake is best for first time look and feel Slakeware is best for learning Linux if you can handle terminal black console I thing Fedora is ok, you will almost feel at ease. Also you will get help from every one around. The CD is easily available. Whatever ... all of them are same benith LIKE MAN WE ARE.
