Do not use Bangladesh Computer Council's Bengali fonts & Bangladesh
National Keyboard driver, which they assumes as Unicode compliant.

I cannot accept BCC's release as 100% Unicode complaint. People will get
in trouble if they use this crap stuff.

Let me explain all the problems to and you can decide what to do :)
1: They used some fake letters (MON GORA মন গড়া) and there is no base of
them in Unicode or ISO. They are Khio, Khanda-Ta and Bo-Fola. Have a
look at http://www.bcc.net.bd/keyboard/layout/3_layer.jpg and
http://www.bcc.net.bd/keyboard/layout/4_layer.jpg

There is no place for Khio and Bo-Fola in Unicode code page. Have a look
at http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0980.pdf

Also Unicode decided to place Khanda-Ta at 09CE (ref.
http://www.unicode.org/%7Eemuller/iwg/p12/index.html ) and once Unicode
Consortium decides anything, they never change that.

2: When I opened their font, I found "Developed by Information Engineers
& Consultants Bangladesh (iecb) Ltd for Bangladesh Computer Council
(BCC). © 2005 BCC. All Rights Reserved." but the glyphs (letters) are
actually stolen from Linotype. Did BCC took license from LinoType for
using them? I didn't found any document regarding that. Very sad that
Government Organization is training us to pirate.....

3: When I went to convert a document with their converter, it gave me a
error message, "C:\Program Files\IECB\Jatio Keyboard\Agency FB.diff was
not found" May be BCC didn't pay IECB the total price of the contract
and IECB didn't deliver the file with the Installer.

4: The installed folder is C:\Program Files\IECB\, which should be
C:\Program Files\BCC\ (LOL)

5: I went to install the Debian Linux version and found the installer
has nothing inside. Download the Linux (Debian Sarge)_installer from BCC
website and extract it. You'll get a file called bn-National.mim, but do
you know how to install/use that? :)

If I tried, I'd find more problems, but I'm too disappointed to continue
with that.

Some of you must know that I'm working with Unicode and Microsoft since
2001 and I *never* found any of Bangladeshi Government body to contact
with them regarding *any* issue.

Do not use BCC Bangla Software. You have many other options around you....
