I think what Mridul meant was that it's imporant to know the original
sources of the work(s) you're using. Reasons for this -- using others'
works might give them rights such as the right to seek compensation
and it's important to take these into account before using their work.
But obviously, you're not likely to get sued by anybody. Still, we
remain aware of these things because they may affect our lives in the
future.
