ensure kopa is no working in the windows PC. Kopa is not harmful if you
do not close the notepad (that is used to write the messages) untill
the last OK message appear. Follow the steps:
>
> After booting windows do the following things :
> 1. Go to folder options and unhide 'Hidden files' and 'Protected
System files'.
> 2. You need to start the window in safe mode to be able to remove
some system files those are responsible to run the Kopa.
> 3. Go to Windows folder . Remove any file named 'kopa'
and 'systemlb'. For example Kopa.exe, systemlb.exe, systemlb.dat etc.
> 4. Search the registry for 'kopa' and 'systemlb' and delete them.
(Use 'start > run > regedit > ok > view > find' and 'view > find next'
or 'F3' to search)
>
> Press Shift key to stop Autorun the pendrive when you add the
pendrive with your pc. If the pendrive contains Kopa virus and you
applied the step 1 mentioned above then you will see Kopa.exe file on
your pendrive. you must delete this at the first step.
> It is better to clean all the pcs in the office or LABs at the same
time for not to allow to spread the virus through the network.
