i've a imation clip flash drive 1GB . i bought it abt 1 yr ago.Today i dl a file & want to copy it into my flash . After copying some data ,such like 200Mb
it gives an error : in linux "I/O device error ...." & in windows "Cannot copy the data..The disk is write protected .Remove the write protection & try another " so , i guess flash drive is ok .& problem is in write protection . So, anyone please help me..abt this matter.My OS is redhat. i've checked there is no button on the flash to lock it or for write protection . ..How can i remove d write protection ..? any advice will b highly appreciated. ....rousseau
