i am using citycell zoom in fedora 7 you can use the "wvdial" tool which is a intelligent Point-2-Point dialer (actually better than original soft - reconnects automatically when dc ;-) ). but you have to find out the parameters of your modem. then you have to write commands using them in "/etc/wvconfig" text file. you can easilt google out it ... with best wishes....
