I disagree. I live in Sydney and I can upload photos of extreme poverty
around here. You should see the country-side pictures and the ruthless
aggression of nature is some places here. But in pictures it would appear
rather like big wOw.

But if you think of Sydney / Melbourne; opera house, harbor bridge or crown
hotel is the 1st thing you imagine or maybe Bondi or Williamstown beach.

Similarly for USA or UK downtown areas are as poor and dirty as you can
think of. Having patriotism is good but should also develop marketing sense.
Just by having patriotism didn't bought the current economic progress or
respect for India or Malaysia or any countries.

Everyone knows there's darkness under the light. But it's the light everyone
wants to see and cherish.

Imagining flood victims or half naked beggar is not the 1st thing anyone
would want to imprint in someone else's (someone who got no idea about
Bangladesh) mind rather thinking Bangladesh got the longest sandy beach in
the world would be much more +ve and patriotic.

Flood pictures or even beggars can be introduced in such a way that would
look attractive and I guess no one would forget the natural beauty of
Bangladesh. When the new wonders of the world voting came up I sent least
1000 emails to everyone I know or every group I am in. digg the story what
Peruvians didn't to promote Incan temples (machu pichu). They flooded the
internet with emails and personal requests. We did nothing compared to that.

Also Soyuz vai, having those photos can be good if taken from right angle.
Its all about presentation. I will send some links and I am sure you will
like every one of them.

I am not opposing the point Ragib bro introduced. I am merely pointing its
needed to have a positive appearance when you are introducing to someone
else. Like a job interview! Wouldn't you all agree?

Lastly this is a NIX group and I apologies for sending a very irrelevant
email.

Thanks all

I disagree ... all photos reflecting Bangladesh are very much welcome.
The "skinny village boys" are just as much Bangladeshi as anyone
riding a Mercedes in Gulshan. Similarly, a typical Bangladeshi village
house is more representative of BD than the glittery Bashundhara City
Mall. All photos of all Bangladeshi scenarios are needed, and I
request people to send whatever they have.

Thanks

Ragib
