You can get the taste of KDE4 as it is happening

For those who don't bother about KDE world - its a complete new
rewrite of the KDE for the modern world.

While me personally is not very excited about the Oxygen theme they
are bringing in (but yet somewhat better than kde 3 choices. also
themes will be selectable) but I am impressed by the performance, GUI
and usability improvements they are doing. I am using Opensuse 11
(Beta2) + KDE 4.0 as my day to day desktop (which is quite feature
incomplete) but still reluctant to go back to KDE3 due to KDE4
improvements. Very stable for a beta but then really really feature
incomplete (less feature less bug, how clever!). Also apps to take
advantage of KDE4 is yet to hit the wave.

For the serious ones, it is gonna be YOUR desktop down 1-2 years. So
better start getting to know it.

For the adventurous ones, explore it, you will like it.

And specially for the Gnomers - pretend kde4 is not real :P
